Lake Balaton - Holiday at Balaton
Balaton is the largest lake in Central Europe and one of its foremost tourist destinations. The northern shore is known as a major wine region of Hungary and the southern shore is known for its summer resorts. The water of Balaton at the southern shore deepens slowly so you can walk into the lake more hundred meters before the water infests you. In the summer "the Hungarian Sea" (like Hungarians call the lake) heats up to 24-25 - sometimes even 29 - Celsius. Balaton is 77 km long and the narrowest part located between Szántód (southern shore) and the Tihany Peninsula (northern shore) which are connected with ferry.

Pension Karát, Balatongyörök. Our Hotel lies in the centre of Balatongyörök, in a nice, quiet street. There is a beautiful view on Lake Balaton and the Szent Mihály Hill about 1 km far, and the lovely chapel on the top. There is a small shop and a bus stop 50 metres from the pension. The beach is about 400 metres from the house, but a pleasant walk makes the distance shorter. The round-the-lake bicycle route is 300 metres far from the pension, and the Zeppelin Restaurant can be found within 200 metres. This is also run by the family and offers 10% reduction for the pension´s guests. The ´hidden´ car park behind the building provides protected parking places for the cars, and the spacious, green park in front of the house offers an excellent place for relaxation, those who wish to rest or sunbathe and it is also suitable for children. Apartments Rádi, Balatonföldvár. The 3 floored house Rádi was built in 2003, the apartments on the 2nd and the 3rd floors are for rent. The accommodation located 600 meters far from the city center, however waiting for its guests in a calm street, in a dead end. The house has modern furnished apartments. From the furnished roof-terrace you can overlook the Balaton. In the grassy quadrangle there are child pool (0,8 meters deep, diameter: 3,6 meters), sand box, swing, slide and a basketball-backboard. Full garden furniture set - table, benches, sunbeds - make your resting complete. The 3rd floor is air-conditioned. The 3rd floor is also for rent separated. Holiday house Rubin, Balatonföldvár. Our holiday house is located in Balatonföldvár in the near of the Park Forest, in quiet and calm environment. The holiday house Rubin waiting for guests and families wish to enjoy relaxation and calmness. Also a pool and a terrace belongs to the accommodation. There is a parking place in the courtyard or in the garage. In the holiday house our guests find an air-conditioner, and all the rooms have a balcon. There is a spaceous living-room with television, DVD player and Mini-Hifi, a full equipped kitchen and eating table. After agreement and for extra price it is possible to bring pets in the accomodation.
The house owners aren´t living in the house.
